Formed in Brighton but with a singer driven to Scotland by Brexit, Lower Slaughter makes heavy “party music.” The album – What Big Eyes – technically came out last year, but it’s just found its way into my playlist and it’s hard to put it down. They create thick, heavy, sludge rock that combines Kyuss with L7 and Circa Survive.
